This ring is sculpted from a pair of talons cast in sterling silver. The claws themselves are the band, front and back, so it cannot have material added to or removed from it. It can be opened or closed more however, so can accommodate a range of sizes, and with care, the size can easily be adjusted by the wearer. As pictured, the ring is sized to a 10. The claws will overlap more or less for smaller or larger sizes. I also have two other versions of this ring design in my shop, both of which are constructed with more delicate talons. This one is quite hefty, and better suited for individuals with larger hands.

The silver is blackened and lightly polished in the highlights to add contrast. Note that the blackening will rub off of the high points over time, revealing more of the silver color.
