This ring is sculpted from a pair of cardinal claws cast in sterling silver. The claws themselves are the band, front and back, so it cannot have material added to or removed from it. It can be opened or closed more however, so can accommodate a range of sizes, and with care, the size can easily be adjusted by the wearer. As pictured, the ring is sized to a 7.5. The claws will overlap more or less for smaller or larger sizes. I also have a version of this ring in my shop made from two pairs of claws instead of a single pair.

The silver is blackened and lightly polished in the highlights to add contrast, but it is also available solid black, or highly polished with now blackening. Note that the blackening will rub off of the high points over time, revealing more of the silver color.
