These are replacement parts for my rod holder and bit kit fire starter designs. You must have the original parts in order to attach the replacement inserts to your tool.

I do not recommend using the same holder for different rod inserts due to different thicknesses of the insert types.

The magnesium rod replacements may have sharper ends than what comes with the original kit. I hand file the end of the ones that come with the kit, but the replacements are more of a rough cut. I expect users to be comfortable enough to file the corners on these if they have already used up the original.
