Tweezer and Pin Scale Tool for Leatherman Charge
This part is designed to replace the pivot spacer and lanyard/pocket clip spacer on the Leatherman Charge + and Charge Titanium. It comes with one plastic part, a few sewing pins, and one pair of Victorinox Tweezers.
I’ve included an option for the Wave and other tools which comes with Victorinox Tweezers with the plastic removed, and two tiny magnets. You only need one magnet, but they are small and easy to lose. Just stick the magnet to the tweezers and install them all the way to the back of the channel where the pocket clip goes. Reposition the magnet as needed.
This will fit best under the Saw. It will also fit under the file, but the file will be raised by about 1mm at the end. Not enough to be an issue, but it’s worth noting. If adding both the ferro rod and the tweezer/pin spacer, one of them will need to go under the file, and both options will raise the end of the file by approximately 1mm. If you want to keep both of the pocket clip and lanyard ring slots they can be swapped with the solid spacers, but the pocket clip will not work properly if installed on the opposite side, and you may run into issues keeping the hidden lanyard ring. I recommend removing that one and using the removable one that comes with the pocket clip instead.
The tweezers that come with the kit are the standard Victorinox 58mm tweezers with the plastic trimmed slightly. They do a great job, though my personal preference is the Leatherman tweezers, which have an angled and sharpened tip. Those are available from Leatherman directly.
These pieces are designed by myself, and 3D printed in matte black PLA on my FDM printer.
