Scribe and Pin Holder for Leatherman Arc and P4/P2
Scribe and Pin Holder for Leatherman Arc and P4/P2
Scribe for Leatherman Free Series
** Updated design includes sewing pin.
Please note: only 1 under-scissor tool can be installed at a time (i.e. - scribe, Toothpick, pen or ferro rod).
This part is designed to magnetically adhere to the frame underneath the scissors on the Leatherman Arc and Free P4/P2
The scribe itself is a solid Tungsten Carbide rod. It can be resharpened using a drill and diamond file or belt sander.
The plastic holder has two small neodymium magnets installed in it which stick to the frame under the scissors. The shape of the holder lock it into the contours of the frame for a very secure attachment. To remove it, simply push the part visible from the outside towards the hammering surface which will rotate the part and lift the opposite end enough so that the rod can easily be grabbed and the assembly removed. To install, just drop it in, slide it towards the hammer end, and close the scissors.
The holder is the same for the Pen, Scribe, Toothpick and the Ferro rod. The different tools can easily be removed and swapped or replaced and are available without the holder as replacement items in a separate listing. The holder is made with a durable, slightly flexible material so that it can accommodate the slight difference in diameter of the various tool insert options.
These pieces are designed and 3D printed by myself.
